ECHO
A health careers exploration program giving students hands-on experience across healthcare settings in Western Maryland — from high school through undergraduate.
ECHO provides fun, interactive, multi-disciplinary experiences through various learning opportunities to increase students' interest in pursuing careers in healthcare. All students are exposed to a broad array of health careers — and encouraged to return to Western Maryland to practice.
ECHO has a unique summer program in the Western Maryland region that provides hands-on activities in various healthcare settings, including public health. During the school year, we offer three in-school lessons covering public health, aging simulation, and dental careers.
ECHO 101, 201 & 301
ECHO is offered across three levels designed for different stages of a student's health career journey — from first exposure through deeper exploration.
Real-world experiences at leading institutions
ECHO helped me make a decision that I enjoy working with people and that I want to help change lives.
