About the Center

Wellness and Recovery Centers in Western Maryland

Mountain Haven was originally run by the Office of Consumer Advocates as part of its Western Maryland peer support network.

As of July 1, 2026, management of Mountain Haven, along with Hope Station in Cumberland, transitioned to AHEC West, which was awarded the operation of both counties' Wellness Recovery Centers to expand access to safe and supportive environments for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.

A supportive space, close to home.
