Hope Station is a peer-run Wellness and Recovery Center serving Allegany County. The center provides a safe, welcoming space for individuals living with mental health conditions, behavioral health challenges, and substance use disorders.

Programming is designed to promote recovery and social connection among participants, fostering a successful and well-supported recovery. Everyone is welcome.

About the Center

Wellness and Recovery Centers in Western Maryland

As of July 1, 2026, AHEC West was awarded the operation of the Wellness and Recovery Centers in both Allegany and Garrett counties. Hope Station in Cumberland and Mountain Haven in Oakland now operate together to expand access to safe and supportive environments for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.
